So my dad went to court today to claim compensation for someone in a van reversing into him and breaking the guard on his motorbike at a red light. Instead, his insurance company has to pay the driver £1,400 for causing him whiplash. Yes, obviously a motorbike can run into the back of a van at such a speed that it moves it it fast enough to cause whiplash, yet the motorcyclist survives COMPLETELY...
